We are a Guest Accommodation and provide bed and breakfast and evening meals at certain times.  Amber House is our home. Please note we are not a hotel - though historically our website has the word "hotel" in it. We do not provide 24 hour reception or comprehensive concierge services and we close the bar at 10:30pm - at the latest. Usual check-in time is between 2.30pm and 6pm. Late arrivals (6pm - 10.00pm) by  special arrangement only. No arrivals after 10.00pm.

We specialise in catering for special dietary requirements eg those requiring gluten-free, dairy/lactose free meals and vegetarians. We provide evening meals at certain times (please refer to Gluten free page and Meal Deal page for times and further details).

We have an ironing board and iron that can be brought to your room.  Laundry service at a charge. Wet suits and beach wear can be dried on our line at no charge. Beach towel hire available.

We have free wi-fi access. Print out facilities by arrangement.  All rooms have either Freesat HD, FreeSky or Freeview TV & DVD players.

We can provide assistance with luggage.  For those travelling by train/coach, if you have to arrive before 2.30pm or leave after check-out time (10.30am), you may leave your luggage with us.

We will do our utmost to provide information, directions and assistance when required.

We can provide links to recommended restaurants if you wish to make a reservation before you arrive. Also in-house guide to eating out - includes directions, sample menus, access and GF meals.

We can arrange mobile scooter  or wheelchair hire.  But please note our ground floor bedrooms are not suitable for those entirely reliant on wheelchairs whilst inside the house.

We provide a wide range of services and information for dog owners too. All bookings for dog owners must be made with us directly.  Email or ring in the first instance. Tel 01803 558372 A small charge is made for dogs to ensure that we can continue to provide services and maintain a high level of cleanliness in the rooms.

Our garden has comfortable wooden hardwood furniture, parasols, a swing bench .

We have free on-site parking for all our guests

We serve a variety of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks including locally produced Ales.
